Hello, i am using right now the gnome (shell) 3.6.2 desktop and i have some issues i'd like to discuss here:
1. How can i switch the window buttons from right to left?
2. is it possible to search for documents and directories in the gnome shell shearch (when we press the meta key)
3. I think gnome shell desktop doesnt use compiz effects, and thats why i cant move windows with my trackpad with 3 fingers (Asus N56), just like i did when using unity desktop. Is this true?

Thank you for the help. Happy new year! :)

I use Ubuntu Tweak to move window buttons under tweaks > window . The Gnome shell does not use Compiz . http://www.webupd8.org/2012/11/ubuntu-tweak-gets-full-ubuntu-1210.html

What buttons you would like to appear in the title bar can be set in the Gnome Tweak Tool.
