What's the name of this sci-fi movie?

Hi,
It's a sci-fi movie from a few yeas ago, there's a team of superheroes or so, one of them like totally blue (or green), bald and naked, sometimes retreats to the moon (or mars) to meditate in silence, he's blown away to pieces towards the end of the movie but puts himself back together.


I wanted to watch it again but can't recall its name.

I have the unrated directors cut on DVD. If you want to see it at its best, watch that one. I am not sure what it is about it but it feels like it has more of a personal touch to the characters in it.

Also, if you like the story, be sure to read the graphic novel. They did a really good job when they put it to film, but the book contains so much extra detail.
