Hi, I wanted to know if there is an application I can use to get a Windows-like start menu in Kubuntu?

I have tried GNOmenu but it's servers do not work.

It's not that I hate Kickoff, it's just that I do not want to wade through all the categories to find an application.

It's not that I hate Kickoff, it's just that I do not want to wade through all the categories to find an application.you simply have to right-click on the "K" menu icon, then from the contextual menu choose "classic menu".
