Hi,
I have a Lenovo X121e Intel Sandy Bridge Laptop and have to reinstall the OS.
I decided to go with a dual boot of Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.10 but am running into a few issues.
First I decided to ditch UEFI Secure Boot since it seems to make everything very complicted and I like it simple ;-).
Well it seems like by doing so I am creating new problems:
The Laptop boots Ubuntu 12.10 X64 live fine when enabling 'uefi boot' but when I switch to 'legacy mode' booting from the same stick just ends in a black screen. The Windows 7 installer seems to be booting fine if I chose 'legacy mode' or 'both' but not when I enable 'uefi only'. It is a bit frustrating and I'm close to giving up because both systems seem to boot fine when the option 'both' is chosen but then I run into the whole uefi issues with ubuntu and I have no clue how to dual boot the setup then.
Maybe you got some good idea.

Thanks a lot

Regards Nana
