Hi everyone,
I'm not sure whether to post this in Security or in the Community Cafe, as i'm not sure it is entirely relevant to Ubuntu.
I run Firefox with NoScript on all the time while surfing and moved to Ubuntu partly to avoid the security hassles that accompany Windows. I also regularly visit sites such as Torrentfreak.com campaigning for "free culture", etc (I do not aim to talk about these issues here). One such group, MAFIAAFIRE (http://mafiaafire.eu), developed two addons called "The Pirate Bay Dancing" and "Gee, no evil", that function to redirect around censored websites.
A while ago they had their domain name company turn on them and turf them off their old site, http://ilovemafiaafire.net/ . It was reappropriated to serve ads to those such as me who got there from their old bookmarks and links... But now it is redirecting visitors as per myhttp://ubuntuforums.org/images/attach/jpg.gif Screenshot from 2012-12-28 23:10:45.jpg (http://ubuntuforums.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=229261&stc=1&d=1356733095) (44.9 KB) to a page that looks like this:

There is no warning about this redirection and the Ghostery addon Firefox doesn't protest about it either. The "Error: missing plugin" is very vague and seems to redirect to itself (I didn't actually click on it), mentioning no specific plugin at all. However, it changes according to which browser you use (I tried going to the same place with Chromium and got this:

WHAT is this site doing?
