Any difference between 2012 Smith I/O goggles and the 2013 ?

Other than the new Anon M1 Goggle, not much.

Sorry, I read your post too quickly, and missed your point. To answer directly, my son-in-law just bought the new(?) I/OS, to replace his I/O goggles. Don't know if it's a new 2013 model, but they seemed to be a bit smaller and sleeker than his old ones. The only absolutely new goggle I'm aware of, is the Anon M1, which you see in my other post, I bought.

^, Don't know about that. I bought a pair from REI, and just got back from a skiing trip. They worked great, and were very comfortable - certainly better than my old ones, that I've had for longer than I can remember.
