Gnome 3 Unredirects Fullscreen Windows?

This only talks about Unity but what about Gnome3. Should I bother to update as I use Gnome3?

This is a Unity feature and separate from the Gnome shell. Unity is a Compiz plugin which the shell doesn't use.
