I have upgraded to 12.04 and further to 12.10
Since 12.x I have the problem that the network-manager does not start.
I found to disable the long booting time, while waiting for the network.
So it starts right away with the message: that it boots without network, ...
Login, and sudo service network-manager start gets the network up in a snap.
How can I get this automatically back?
