Not sure where else to put this, but I had a lot of trouble finding the older versions of ubuntu so I chose to upload my collection. I have almost every single version of ubuntu, and I want to upload the older ones to thepiratebay for other people. Would I get in any trouble?

no, despite its title it is just torrent site with many legal downloads available there even though lots of ISP's block it as with most torrent sites

Also it is one of the better sites as they default to magnet links, it is not illegal to download from piratebay unless it is illegal material you are downloading

You won't get in trouble seeding Ubuntu unless you modify it and seed it as Ubuntu.
So as long as you don't build a customized Ubuntu and release as Ubuntu, Canonical won't care.

they'll yell at you going what do you think this is? open source software? how dare you share it? hehe

just to avoid any confusion Ubuntu is open source software... and you can share it however you like, wherever you like!

There are already many copies of Ubuntu on TPB.
The Ubuntu download site also has torrents.

You didn't look very hard :)

Current releases can be found here:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/

Old releases can be found here:
http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases/

Normal downloads and torrents are available.
