Ubuntu doesn't ship with spyware. This is just RMS spreading FUD so people will remember he's not dead yet. Attacking those who are more successful, or rather, more important to free software than he is. If you actually read what Mark Shuttleworth has said about the shopping lens, or even look into the code, you'll see it's not malicious code. And if you still believe the FUD, you can easily uninstall it. Gnome 3 Shell lets you search online too, where's the outcry?
