View Full Version : Fixing 3D models

Hi All

I am a total noob to 3D modelling or anything of that sort. I have been assigned the task of fixing a 3d model for 3d printing. I downloaded a 3d model compatible with blender. I have blender 2.62

I cannot use blender. How do I know whether a model has any printing issues?
Can someone point me in the right direction of finding algorithms for fixing models (I'm supposed to code an app that automates the fixing of the 3d models for printing)

I'm unsure whether this is the right place to seek help, I've tried every forum out there and so far-----I have nothing.

Any help appreciated.
