Conky window overplapping across desktop background

I just installed conky on my xubuntu 12.10 Desktop. I downloaded conky script from the following link.

I didn't change any settings in .conkyrc. When i run conky i get this weird display of conky. The screen shot of which is shared below.

Try to enable the xfce compositor under Settings -> Windows Manager Tweaks -> Compositor

It's enabled. Problem still persists.
