click mic icon -> say word(s) -> speech to text conversion = happy slow typer

placing the icon on the left side of hte input box would be best and then pad the text 16 pixels to the right

Oh! I see what you are after. This is Hyper Text Markup Language.
To pad the icon you could try the non breaking space
 
Now you need to place the icon to the left. Try
