Hello and Welcome

What Ubuntu version? I have two versions of Python on 12.10 but I am running the Gnome Shell and XFCE along with Unity. This may be the reason for having two versions. Many programs are dependent on a particular python version so I don't how upgrading will affect those programs.

Python 3.2.3 (default, Oct 19 2012, 19:53:16)

Python 2.7.3 (default, Sep 26 2012, 21:51:14)

Sadly there is no way to install iTunes onto linux without using WINE or some other windows emulator.

Both Python 2 and Python 3 should be installed by default on Ubuntu 12.10.
