:confused:I log onto runescape, then I click "Play now". Runescape loads it checks and fetches updates, but right in the middle of doing this Firefox crashes. I have the Iced tea web plugin(IcedTea-Web Plugin (using IcedTea-Web 1.2 (1.2-2ubuntu0.10.04.3)) (http://www.google.com/search?q=current%20version%20plugin%20IcedTea-Web%20Plugin%20%28using%20IcedTea-Web%201.2%20%281.2-2ubuntu0.10.04.3%29%29)) if that helps.

Is this a new problem? Or has this always happened?

Yeah I tried this 2 months ago and it did the same thing. Do you think its a java problem?

It may be, I have never played this game so I am not too sure. Why don't you try installing actual JAVA.

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Java

If you install Oracles Java -- a lot of times it fixes a lot of weird issues like this one. Just make sure to remove all of the other versions of Java that you may have.

What version of Ubuntu are you using by the way?

According to my computer "You are using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
- the Lucid Lynx "

Nice -- I would install Java 6, and remove OpenJDK and IceTea. Let me know if you have trouble with that. Its pretty straightforward.
