How to change kdm theme?

Hi, I have ubuntu 12.10 and I installed 'KDE display manager for X11' from the software center and it works. However, what I want to know is, after downloading a theme from kde-look.org
(http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Tux-Mania+for+KDM+Update?content=22187), I want to know how I apply the theme. I google'd the question and people said to do it through GDM-theme-manager but im not sure how to get this. I looked for it on the software center and couldn't find it.
Can anyone help?

I also saw a previous thread posted a long time ago which said to do
tar xjf 22187-Tux-Mania.tar.bz2
on the terminal, which I did, but then the error message I get is
"22187-Tux-Mania.tar.bz2: Cannot open: No such file or directory"
I am pretty new to linux and ubuntu so I wont know much don't know much.

That tar command is to extract the tarball, which you should be able to do graphically with Dolphin.

I'm not familiar with KDE, but I believe this is how it's done: Open System Settings > Login Screen > Theme, choose "Install new Theme", then browse to the tarball.

Dont think that you can use that old theme whith kde4. The one you are looking at depends on 3.4.X.

However, in earlier versions withouth ligth DM, you could always start System Settings->Login Screen->Theme and click on "Get new Themes". But I didn't find any in my 12.10 box.
