I've started using vim but I find it really hard to navigate and open new files.
My files are on another drive so I have to access them via /media/Data/....
while HOME is on /Home/usrname/...
So each time I have to go to the root folder, and go into a very long filepath just to open a file.
Do u guys know of anything that can make this easier for me?
Thanks

the nerdtree plugin is quite helpful for file navigation

You could use a symbolic link in your home directory to your data directory.
