I'm running ubuntu 12.04 and I have 2 graphics cards plus on board graphics on an asus MB.

One card is a pci express 16, and the other is a pci card.

My MB lets me order these, i.e. peg/pci or pci/peg and depending on which I choose one or the other of my cards/monitors get's used, both during bios bootup and later in ubuntu. It has in total 5 settings, including pci/igd or peg/igd or just igd (internal graphics device).

I have been able to boot up with all the settings, but only one of the 3 ever is used, though it's happy with the one.

The display panel only show one monitor, and Xrandr only sees one but will see any of the 3 depending on the setting in the bios. I also have the same problem with my 10.04 system (both installed with dual boot)

lspci sees the internal and one of the two cards. But never both cards at once.

Any ideas, and what could I post here that might help?
