Odd error is blocking Update Manager from well...updating

Hi, I've been trying to update my computer, but for some reason when I want to use update manager I get this error.

W:Failed to fetch http://extras.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/natty/main/binary-i386/Packages 404 Not Found
, E:Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I really have no idea what is going on, and any help would be wonderful, thanks!

I realize this, but lets say I want to upgrade to 12.04, there is usually something there at the top that says I can, for me it isn't there anymore, is there some way I could do this via the terminal? Or will I have to do a hard load via a disk or USB drive?
