Am a newbie so apologises if my brevity.
Currently running 10.04 LTS on my Dell Latitude 131L and am pondering whether it is worth the upgrade / fresh install to go to 12.04 LTS so can get the 5 years of support plus latest stuff or stay on 10.04 due to lack of power specification on my laptop and just wait until they fix all the problems on a future 12.04 LTS version.
The brief specification for the Dell Latitude 131L as follows.
AMD Turion 64 Mobile 1.6
1GB Ram (Although could consider upgrading to 2GB)
ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 256MB Graphics card
60GB Hard Drive
Probably that's enough but can give more if necessary.
If anyone has a Dell Latitude 131L to similar or same specifications as my machine and done the upgrade / fresh install to 12.04 then feel free to share their thoughts on how it is running.
Also if people recommend to upgrade / fresh install. Which is better and is there anything I need to be aware of or need to do so I do not do anything belly up.
Hope can someone help. Thanks in advance!
