View Full Version : [ubuntu] Ubuntu doesnt recognize disk

Hello.i was installing ubuntu 11.04 and in the middle of proces my pc just shut down(overheat of nvidia). I started to installing again but this time ubuntu does not see disk(just system partition with 1.8gb memory). I can see my disc in the bios correctly but i cant find it when im starting ubuntu installation cd.
What to do?
Ps. Im totally noobie on ubuntu so please give most clear explanetion. Thanks

11.04 has expired.
Versions and release & support until dates:

So you cannot get any updates if you do install.

Better to use 12.04 LTS as that is long term support.

From liveCD open gparted and post screen shot. You can attach screen shot with paperclip icon in edit panel above your message.
