I just got ubuntu 11.10 up and running on my new Samsung ARM Chromebook. Almost.

It boots just fine into ubuntu, and i get

-----

Ubuntu 11.10 localhost.localdoman tty1

localhost.localdomain login:

-----

what on earth do i use? I installed this by simply untarring

http://cdimages.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-core/releases/11.10/release/ubuntu-core-11.10-core-armel.tar.gz

Googling says to use 'ubuntu' and blank password, unless i have an alternate flavor, then use that. Ive tried

root
guest
ubuntu
lubuntu
edubuntu
armel

with no luck. HELP!! I cant believe after all the work to hand format partitions on an SD card, scp lib files off my chromebook and repack them into a kernel, etc, that i am done except i dont have a username LOL

Throw a fellow hacker a bone pls?
