Hello everyone, I'm a new kde user just installed kubuntu last night and when i went to deviantart, i saw this screenshots that have those global menu like mac, how are those implemented in kde?. I'm come from a gnome-ish background and kde is really a new environment, is there tools to make change easy?.

For the global menu (I don't know about the rest of that Mac like setup):

1. Rightclick on the dektop > add widget
2. Look for the widget Window Menubar
3. Drag this widget to the panel where you want the global menu to appear and drop it there.

There is no dock on that picture. At the bottom is the panel (Androbit desktop theme) and above that is the bar you get when clicking 'add widgets'. It's not for launching applications, just for picking widgets.

The problem with that menu is, it doesn't tell what Application is open, unlike in the screenshot, it tells that the Desktop is open and the menus available, when switching to dolphin it tells dolphin. i hope you get my point.
