Hello everybody,
I would like to install Ubuntu using full disk encryption that is now supported in the 12.10 installer. I am currently using Gentoo, however I would like to move to an OS that's easier to use, as my laptop is becoming more of a tool than a toy, lately.
Is it possible to use full disk encryption that is unlocked by a key on a thumb drive using the Ubuntu installer? This key would be located on a USB drive. I know you can specify the passphrase for LUKS but I want to use a key, instead, which is how I have it configured in Gentoo.
I was trying to get a feel for if I need to get my hands dirty or not.
Thanks!
