Slow animation when right-clicking an item in the dash.

When I click with the mouse right button to see details of an item int the dash the animation take so many time to start and when it starts, its slow. How to accelerate it?

How about some details about your computer?

Processor?
RAM?
Video Card?
Compiz Enabled?

This sounds like a hardware issue. I have an older computer with Ubuntu 12.10 running with smooth animations, but I have a video card to handle the power the graphics require to run smoothly. I have also noticed that Proprietary drivers provide smoother graphics vs open source graphic drivers provided by Ubuntu.

Yes, it runs Crysis, probably not in the maximum, but runs...

Ubuntu 12.10 64 bits.
Using X.org video drivers, because ATI drivers are garbage on 12.10.

Perhaps I must downgrade to 12.04. Amnésia runs like a trash with all in the minimum... :(
