My partition table is a little bit complicated:

I'm using a 500 gigs WD drive with Windows 7 on in combination - raid - with a 30GB Kingston SSD, which is used as a cache drive thanks to Intel Smart Response Tecnology.
I recently added a 160 GB Maxtor disk that I plan to use with Ubuntu

Windows 7 now sees the Maxtor as a big fat32 drive with nothing inside.

What would happen if I install Ubuntu on the 160GB drive?
I'd like to mantain the raid configuration between the WD and the Kingston but I would also like to be able to install Ubuntu on the Maxtor in order to choose the operating system I want...
Would GRUB work just fine?
I don't wanna mess up anything :(
