Dear all,
I am using ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
But i found that 'cpp' exceutable file in '/usr/local/bin/' is 32 bit instead on 64 bit. I found that after failing to compile open source package Abinit from abinit.org.
I unstalled the whole GCC package of which 'cpp' c pre-processor is part of.
HOwever, the 32 bit 'cpp' remain in the '/usr/local/bin'. I installed 64 bit GNU C pre-processor 'cpp'. The cpp remains 32 bit.
How can i remove that executable and reinstall 64 bit 'cpp' file.
Thanks
regards
Richard
