open source world

i am sorry if i post this in a wrong forum


but i have to say this to the community about chess engines

and the open source world .please fogive me about my english

today from top 3 engines there is a open source chess engine called stockfish it is very strong and there are many chess engines that are commecial and closed source which are weaker than this FOSS

so imo open source dosnt mean its not powerfull than others

for example we know that there is still no best altanative for adobe photoshop etc but in chess world its so stronger than others here is a proof http://www.computerchess.org.uk/ccrl/404/

so when i see this engine win a game tourn i feel like its our engine that there are millions of people support wih the community

so we can be proud one day that we made an IT world there is no poor rich gap to learn (ubuntu /linux projects)

there are many people around the globe who didnt even see a pc education etc so one day i think ubuntu linux will be the best way to educate them self thats my dream :)
