kernel installed not showing in grub

I recently installed 12.04 64 bit which included kernel 3.2.0-29 generic. I then received 3.2.0-32 generic through regular update and have had multiple kernel panics on start up. I checked Synaptic and 3.2.0-29 generic is still fully installed but does not show up in my grub menu. I have done update grub and it shows but again not in the grub menu. I want to go back to version 29.
