Sorry in advance if this is the wrong place for this thread but I thought I'd ask. I see that an earlier version of the Toshiba Satellite is in the certified hardware list but I was wondering about the Toshiba Satellite 17.3" with the AMD Comal Quad-Core A10-4600M (S875D-002). I know how to make a Live CD or DVD, but I'm wondering how I would install Ubuntu on this because I'm not sure if it will work or not (probably will, Ubuntu works on pretty much anything it would seem) and how one bypasses the UEFI of the Windows 8 era machines. I'd like to be able to hang onto the bluray reading capabilities, too. Thanks if you can help!
