Hi,
recently I bought a new computer with Windows 7 pre-installed:
- AMD Hexacore
- AMD Radeon HD 6670
After downloading the Ubuntu Windows Installer 12.01 I installed ubuntu without any problems.
Now, when I try to boot ubuntu, I first get a purple screen and then it switches between http://imgur.com/9vjs4 and a blank screen.
After pressing ctrl+alt+F1 I got to the Login console.
Also there were some boot-up log messages printed in this Terminal:
radeon 0000:01:00.0: > GPU lockup CP stall for more than 10000msec
and
radeon 0000:01:00.0: >failed to get a new IB (-35)
[drm:radeon_cs_ib_chunk] *ERROR* failed to get ib!
What should/can I do now?
