Hi,

I would like to ask where does Ubuntu 12.10 store my User Account Photo after capturing using my camera on my laptop?

Thanks a million :KS:KS:KS

Is it not in the default Pictures folder? Are you asking where you should put such a photo in order for it to become your User Account photo? It has to be of the right size and renamed .face and then put into your home folder.

I could not find it in the Pictures Folder.... I used the camera when installing 12.10 at first time when it prompted me user account photo.

But, then when I am trying to get that image I didn't know the file path...That's all. :)

it's hidden under home folder. With ctrl+h you'll see the file .face. (or ls -a in terminal)

Gimp from the software center will allow the scaling and renaming of image files.
