xfce4-xfapplet-plugin in 12.10

I have one short question: are there any plans of releasing the xfce4-xfapplet-plugin deb package for 12.10 ?

As far as I understand, the applet has been removed due to Gnome3:

So I guess I will have to go and play with the *.desktop files to add Cardapio to the Xfce panel. Weird thing was that I couldn't install the xfapplet from source either, hm... .
