as we all know interesting web pages have a nasty habit of going 404 on us...

accordingly when an interesting page is found it is well to save a copy

there are options,--

save web page complete ( creates a bunch of messy names )
save html only
save text
cut and paste into LibreOffice text doc
mht archive ( IE only )

as we all know it is important to cite sources and so after saving an interesting page it is a good idea to save also the URL.

in that other o/s you could grab the little icon to the left of the url drag it and drop it in your library along with the web page data -- and it would create a .url file

the content of which would be like this

[InternetShortcut]
URL=http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/10/22/security_report_windows_vs_linux/
tee hee, you'll enjoy that article.... it's a bit dated by very relevant. i think understanding the disaster that the RPC model is -- is the key to understanding why Windows will be heading for the dustbin... After the Google Hack.... Google no longer allows Windows in the Office.... think about it...

But what I'm talking about is.... we need to have this URL feature in U-Box
