View Full Version : [ubuntu] How do you down grade from 12.10 to 12.04

Hi my alienware runs good on 12.10 but ran way better on 12.04. my sound isent as good or anything. i tryed to put 12.04 back on with a usb flash drive and it tells me something about it cant boot but i can boot off the usb on other computers any help would be nice. I dont want a way to fix 12.10 i want 12.04 back on this computer

You are out of luck, you have to re-install 12.04 from scratch as far as I know. Or dual boot both, that is what I am doing now.

so if cant down grade how can i make it better then it is or is there just some bugs that need to be gone though

You'll probably just have to wait. A lot of people are having problems with 12.10 from what I can see, so the developers are probably working on these problems right now. Bug fixes will roll out and things will start working again eventually.
