How do you down grade from 12.10 to 12.04

Hi my alienware runs good on 12.10 but ran way better on 12.04. my sound isent as good or anything. i tryed to put 12.04 back on with a usb flash drive and it tells me something about it cant boot but i can boot off the usb on other computers any help would be nice. I dont want a way to fix 12.10 i want 12.04 back on this computer

You are out of luck, you have to re-install 12.04 from scratch as far as I know. Or dual boot both, that is what I am doing now.

Also, please be aware that if you DO choose to upgrade to 12.10, there is no way to "roll back" to what you have now. Basically, upgrade is one-way. There is no down-grade.

You'll probably just have to wait. A lot of people are having problems with 12.10 from what I can see, so the developers are probably working on these problems right now. Bug fixes will roll out and things will start working again eventually.
