You need to be more specific to get any feedback. Compare what exactly? IIRC, the Ubuntu Studio is built on Xubuntu, so it's XFCE desktop environment, so no Unity or Compiz there for instance.

The focus on the installed software is completely different as the Ubuntu Studio is geared for graphics design, video and music applications. I am not sure but it could also be shipping with a real-time (low-latency) Linux kernel which obviously the standard Ubuntu does not ship with.

Somebody talked about Lxde well lxde is exactly the same on any linux, redhat suse etc... so I also install lxde. It is also quite fast.

Yeah - Ubuntu Studio has a low-latency kernel. It also has Nautilus rather than Thunar as file manager, even though it's Xfce-based.

Ubuntu Studio comes with Thunar file manager. At least 12.04, 13.04. 13.10 did and 14.04 does.
Running 14.04 now !

Yes, Low-latency kernel is default in Ubuntu Studio. Currently running:
