I just upgraded to 12.10 and now Network Manager can no longer associate with any networks.
Wifi is working fine (I'm using the broadcom-STA for a bcm4325 with no problems) and the available networks show up in the applet and the command line, but every time I try to associate with a network, I get the following error:
Failed to add/activate connection (32) None of the registered plugins support add.
Using nmcli from the command line fails with the same error. I haven't come up with much of anything searching the internets, but evidence suggests a permissions problem, maybe?
Any suggestions are welcome. For now, I'd even be happy with a command line work-around.
Thanks!
