hello

the upgrade works not so smooth (hard conflict between python 2.7 and python 3.1)
but finally that works fine with lost of updates without brutal changes

but be carefull if you want to uninstall stuffs after the upgrade
there are very STRANGE things about dependencies

*** chromium and sylpheed (i rather use mozilla softs) have dependencies with lubuntu-desktop !!!
so you can NOT uninstall them
(it was not like this in 12.4)

*** python 3.1 is mandatory for the upgrade but after that seems useless
at the opposite pyton 2.7 has dependencies with most of the lubuntu stuff
and can not be fired off

???

You can uninstall Chromium, but it is advisable to first install an alternative browser. There is some hard setting that requires at least one browser to exist on the system. I had the same problem, and after installing Firefox I could easily remove Chromium.
