G'day
So, I've got a Toshiba 850 laptop and there is a known problem with the Realtek 8723 wireless card not having a driver. I've been on Ubuntu 12.04 since I got it and I had to install it originally, as well as whenever the kernel has been updated.
There are a couple of very helpful threads on here covering the exact problem and have always worked a treat.
This one;
http://askubuntu.com/questions/139632/wireless-card-realtek-rtl8723ae-bt-is-not-recognized
Now I've upgraded to 12.10 and this isn't working anymore. There is another thread which seems to cover the exact error I'm getting and I've used it in the past with success, but again its not working now.
I'm getting the exact error as in post #7
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2017622
Can anyone guide me through getting this working in 12.10?
Kind Regards
Peter
