Ubuntu Installation

Hi Ubuntu Guru's,

After downloading the latest Ubuntu Server installer, I tried installing in in my VMware.

After selecting the install Ubuntu server , my VM keeps on restarting and goes back to the Ubuntu installation selection.

I tried running in ISO and burned it into a CD, still the same results.

Please heelppp :confused:

It is not clear to me if the installation was successful or not. If it was successful, the last step would be to restart in order to boot into the new system. If this ends in mounting the installation media, why not remove it? It is no longer needed.
