Brand new to Ubuntu from Windows. Wanted to completely wipe-out my Netbook OS (XP) and all data. Installed from CD. Had errors on root device. Loaded Boot-repair; it indicates boot is repaired and I think I'm actually able to use the ubunto OS after that. Then when I reboot I get bunch of errors starting with VFS Cannot open root device "UUID=........." or unkown -bloxk(0,0)
and the errors go on. ending with a blinking cursur that I don't think I can do anything with.
