Hello all. Let me begin by saying I'm very mood / seasonal when it comes to my desktop's wallpaper. As fall to winter occurs, I tend to like darker wallpapers.

About 4 years ago, I had a beautiful one of what seemed to be a painted or pastel based town at night with a street post lit, and a moon that, for whatever reason, made me think of starry night; I think it was crescent with rough corners.

I've been googling for this image for the good part of a week and I cannot find it, I've no other hard details to give to figure this out, and I'm starting to lose hope. I can't offer a reward, but the wallpaper may be something you, too, would like. Would anyone like to try to help? So far the only details is it's of either an alley or road with brick for the pavement, a street post I'm sure is lit, I think, and a partially covered with hazy clouds crescent moon in a top corner, with rough(er) edges.

Thanks to all who help. :)

Those are close... but not quite. The road has houses on both sides, i think; with one main lightpost, and i think a steel chimney vent was prominent in the picture.. there was no snow in the wallpaper, either. this would be so much easier if i could remember the artists name; i know he wrote it in cursive on the bottom left corner. bah, i hate my memory!

EDIT:

I found it! This is the wallpaper!

I can't read the artist name that well; but this is definately the wallpaper. :)

I change my with the time of day. Let's see if there's a wallpaper set that has both :P (with 4 seasons, day and night each. :P )
