ok so i have the less recent 12.04 ubuntu desktop 32 bit on both a livecd and usb flashdrive. when i used the livecd to install to my desktop pc's dd as a dual boot, it worked just fine. but when i try it with my laptop which is also a 32 bit system, it shows after i go to the "boot from usb/cd-rom" option, some error involving gfxboot being unable to run. i've tried to use my usb flashdrive to run the installation too, but i receive the same error as with the livecd. does anyone know what the possible reasons for this are?
