Facetime HD camera not working on ubuntu

Hi there, i have macOSX 10.7.5 and i installed, using virtualbox, ubuntu on a virtual machine. Everything was working fine till i needed to use my webcam .
I have a macbookpro8.2 and i want to use the Facetime HD camera from macbook, however after adding the filter for it (under USB) and installing cheese to check if the camera was working, all i get is a black screen. I tried to remove the filter and trying again and "cheese" display a message telling me that i don't have a camera plugged in, so the problem is not ubuntu recognizing the Facetime camera...
Can anyone help me?

I tried using the isight firmware not it didn't work.

Can anyone help me I'm trying to get FaceTime for my laptop its a mini hp.
My laptop got hacked so a friend of mine cleaned it all out and downloaded Ubuntu on here and I don't know how to use it that much. If anyone can help me please I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
