MPlayer-1 window application

Is it possible to make MPlayer a 1-window application(controls&Vidoe in one Window like VLC, Totem,...)

I don't know if this is what you want, but you can run mplayer from the command-line and it will open up a single window, then you use keyboard commands to control the playback, volume, etc.

Yes... You'll just have to use a different frontend then the defualt one like kmplayer. The mplayer homepage has a list of all the different frontends.
