Hello,

I recently upgraded from Ubuntu 10.10 to 12.04. Im not used to Unity, yet.

The first thing i usually do on a new installation is to clear my home-directory. Deleting all the directories i don't need, including the 'iPod'-directory.

This works brilliant, and when i delete the 'Desktop'-directory, the content of my home-directory is shown on the background. I don't use it much, but it makes me clean up more often.

However, one directory keeps returning, the 'iPod'-directory. I have no idea what software might be creating this directory, so anyone got any idea? How might i track the software? Maybe some profiling tool?

Thanks, ath88

What kind of files were in there, just music, or other stuff too?
It might be a clue about what was creating the directory.

It's empty. I don't even attach an iPod, i don't own one. :)

Hmm, do you have gtkpod on your system. I think that might create an iPod directory - though it didn't on my system.

gtkpod is not installed, according to aptitude.

However, after deleting it a couple of times, it has stopped returning. Odd.
