I have ubuntu 12.04 installed on AMD 64 Hardware. I run vmplayer 4.04. I have running VMs for guest OS of ubuntu 10.04, 10.10, WinXp. However, when I tried to install Ubuntu 12.04.1 into a new VM, the install hangs. I also had Linux Mint 12 running on a VM, but then apt doesn't work on the guest Linux Mint. I prevously had guest os Ubuntu 12.04 installed on a ubuntu 10.10 vmware 4.03 host, and that worked. Has anybody gotten a guest of 12.04.1 running on vmplayer on 12.04 host?
