11.10 to 12.04. no upgrade available in update manager

I want to upgrade from 11.10 to 12.04 LTS.
first, shall I?
second, There is no upgrade option in update manager.

First of all,if you want to upgrade be sure that you backed up all your important files.If you don´t see upgrade is available go in Ubuntu software center>edit>software repositories>updates and on the bottom you will see notice me about,and then you have choices normal,lts and never.Choose normal (or every I don´t remember right now) and reload.N ow you should see in update manager that new release is available.

Have you installed all the updates for 11.10? It needs to be fully updated.

Otherwise, the option to upgrade to 12.04 should be there in Update Manager.
