Finding configuration files

Hi

I am about to do a clean install (probably of 12.04.01) after a few years of upgrading. I know I have modified various configuration file e.g. /etc/fstab, I've got some udev rules, rc.local /etc/crontab. I might have more is there a good way of finding them before I reinstall?

I will of course do a certain amount of backing up before I do the reinstallation.
