Most compatible browser with Ubuntu.......FF or Chrome?

Probably the one that comes already installed - Firefox.

They both work great. Use whichever you prefer. FF has HUD integration though.

They both do, but I will say FF has better HUD integration.

It is hard to choose, they're both excellent browsers. I use both, and haven't had problems with either.
I like tweaking in firefox better, chrome I pretty much add a new theme, some extensions and that's about it. I like firefox's ability to move stuff around, and remove stuff I'll never use.
With firefox, it is easier to use the unity hide function, as I shimmy over the forward/back icons, avoiding the ,somehow, most sensitive part of the left edge.

In before recurring. Seriously though, they both work fine, use whatever you prefer. If you truly can't make up your mind, go with Firefox just because it's the default, but they both work great in my opinion.
